OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
1.
Place the appliance on a flat, stable, dry and heat- resistant surface.
2.
Plug the electrical
appliance
co
nnector
/ thermal controller into the appliance socket, then plug
the supply cord /plug into a mains supply socket outlet and switch on the socket.
Note: some initial force may be required to insert the
appliance connector
into the
grill
socket, this is due to
the
length of the temperature probe, ensure fully inserted before
attempting operation.
3.
Adjust the temperature dial on the electrical
appliance connector
/ thermal controller to your
desired setting
(see thermostat
control
dial guide over page)
,
the
grill will start to heat.
4.
For best results always pre-heat the grill for three to four minutes before use. The
appliance connector
/thermal controller has an orange indicator light adjacent to the dial, the
light will
illuminate when the
element is on will switch off when the set temperature has been
reached.
Note – the light will cycle on/off during operation, indicating that the set
temperature is
being
regulated.
5.
Once the preheating period is complete and the grill has reached the desired temperature,
apply
food and check regularly to see how the food is cooking and turn as required.
6.
When the food is fully cooked remove it carefully from the grill using a spatula / tongs, ensure
the
utensils are suitable for non-stick surfaces (ie wood or plastic – do not use metal utensils as
these
may cause permanent damage to the non-stick surface coating).
7.
Immediately after use unplug the grill and allow it to cool sufficiently before cleaning and
storage,
always ensure that the drip tray is removed and cleaned.
GETTING STARTED
BEFORE FIRST USE
Carefully unpack and remove all packaging materials. We suggest you keep the original
packaging carton and materials in a safe place, It will help prevent any damage if the product
needs to be transported in the future, and you can use it to store the appliance when it is not use.
In the event that the carton is to be disposed of, please recycle all packaging materials where
possible.
Dispose of any plastic wrapping safety as it can be a suffocation hazard for babies and young
children. Before first use or after long periods of non-use wipe the non-stick cooking plates with a
damp cloth to ensure clean surfaces.
WARNING: DO NOT IMMERSE THE UNIT AND DO NOT RUN WATER DIRECTLY ONTO
THE COOKING SURFACES. WHEN CLEANING THE GRILL, REMOVE THE ELECTRIC

OTE:
When your grill is heated for the first time, it may emit slight smoke or odo
u
r. This is
Normal with many heating appliances. This does not affect the safety of your appliance, it
should clear after several minutes of use.
