6.3 SUCTION AND STARTING PUMP
The running direction of the pump determines the inlet and the outlet port. The
pump can work in both directions and therefore the suction can be changed even
during the working operation (for example in case of excess liquid or to empty the
piping). Once the suction port has been decided, start the pump, priming requires
only a few seconds; if the pump does not prime check if the suction hose has any
air infiltration, due to holes or to poor tightening of the fittings.
ATTENTION! - BEFORE RUNNING THE PUMP PLEASE CHECK THAT THE PIPING
CIRCUIT AND THE INLET/OUTLET CONNECTIONS ARE STEADILY CONNECTED TO THE
PUMP. DO NOT CARRY OUT ANY CONNECTION OR DISCONNECTION OF THE PIPING OR
OF THE PUMP FITTINGS WHEN THE PUMP IS WORKING.
