27 Warranties and repairs
Lively provides a warranty on hearing aids in the event of defects in workmanship or materials, as
described in applicable warranty documentation. In its service policy, Lively pledges to secure functional-
ity at least equivalent to the original hearing aid. As a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact
initiative, Lively is committed to doing this in line with environment-friendly best practices. Hearing aids
therefore, at Lively’s discretion, may be replaced by new products or products manufactured from new or
serviceable used parts, or repaired using new or refurbished replacement parts. The warranty period of
hearing aids is designated on your warranty card, which is provided by your hearing care professional.
For hearing aids that require service, please contact your hearing care professional for assistance.
Lively hearing aids that malfunction must be repaired by a qualified technician. Do not attempt to open
the case of hearing aids, as this will invalidate the warranty.
28 Temperature test, transport and storage information
Lively hearing aids are subjected to various tests in temperature and damp heating cycling between -25
°C and +70 °C according to internal and industry standards.
During transport or storage, the temperature should not exceed the limit values of -20 °C to +60 °C and
relative humidity of 90% RH, non-condensing (for limited time). The air pressure between 500 and 1100
hPa is appropriate.
