with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance
should not be performed by children without
supervision.
Do not use the product if you detect any type
of damage.
Switch the product off whilst storing in a dark
environment to prevent draining the battery.
Product-specific safety
instructions
Make sure the solar cell is free of dirt and free
of snow and ice in winter. Otherwise the perfor-
mance of the solar panel will be diminished.
Cold temperatures negatively impact the battery
operating time. If the solar garden light will not be
used for extended periods, e.g. in winter, it should
be cleaned and stored in a dry, warm location.
This product is not suitable as
residential room lighting.

Rechargeable batteries are not intended to be in
the hands of children. Do not leave the batteries
lying around. There is a danger that these will
be swallowed by children or pets. If they are ac-
cidentally swallowed seek immediate medical
attention.
CAUTION! EXPLOSION HAZ-
ARD!
Only use the recommended
type of rechargeable batteries. Other
rechargeable or single-use batteries could ex-
plode during charging.
FIRE HAZARD!
Never short-circuit
rechargeable batteries. Otherwise the
rechargeable batteries may overheat,
become a fire hazard or explode.
CAUTION! EXPLOSION HAZ-
ARD!
Never throw rechargeable
batteries into fire or water.
Expired or drained rechargeable batteries may
leak chemicals which will damage the product.
Remove, therefore, the rechargeable battery when
the lamp is not required for any length of time.

Leaked or damaged rechargeable
batteries could cause chemical burns
on contact with the skin; you should therefore
