9. Automated Learning Process./
Activating Code.

CAUTION

:

 The remote control transmitter can be 

programmed to multiple receivers or fans. If this is 
not desired, turn wall switch off to any other 
programmable receiver or fan.

Remove battery cover from back side of remote 
control transmitter.

Install one 9-volt battery (sold separately) in 
transmitter. 

Note:

 Leave battery connected but 

outside

 of battery compartment until learning 

process is complete.

Note

:  The dimmer switch (labeled 

ON/OFF

 and 

DIM

) has been pre-set to the "ON" position 

(

DIM

). If you do not wish to have dimming 

capability, please move the switch to the "OFF" 
position (

ON/OFF

).

Restore electrical power.  Within 30 seconds of 
restoring electrical power, press the 

LEARN

 

button, located on right-hand side at top of the 
battery compartment, for 5 seconds or until fan 
switches to MEDIUM speed. Test the light and fan 
functions to confirm the learning process is 
complete--see Section 11.

Place battery in battery compartment and then 
replace battery cover on transmitter.

8. Light Kit Assembly.

Install one 100-watt max. halogen bulb, type JD 
E11 (included).

Tip

Do not touch glass portion of bulb with fingers 

or hands. Oil from skin can cause bulb to overheat 
and go out prematurely. Use cardboard box or 
foam wrapping bulb was packed with to layer 
around glass portion of bulb.

Align slots on glass shade with nodules on fitter 
plate (located on underside of motor housing).  

Gently push up on glass shade and turn 

to the 

RIGHT (clockwise) 

until it slides completely into 

place.

IMPORTANT

:

 

The glass shade must be removed 

in order to replace the bulb. When you need to 
replace the bulb, please allow bulb and glass 
shade to cool down before touching.
