Connection instructions for the ATEN IC-485S converter
5. Converter cable D-Sub 9-pin connector to 25-pin connector
Use only the supplied converter cable to connect the ATEN IC-485S to the PC.
If the cable is replaced, it must be replaced with the correct type. The cable is a
Serial AT Modem
Cable, DB9 (female) to DB25 (male)
. (A similar cable is used for printers and does
not
work.)
