ongratulations on your purchase of the Lionel Diesel Fueling Station! Place this accessory
along any straight section of track, and the station attendant will bring the fuel line to your
locomotives at the press of a button.
Assembling the Diesel Fueling Station
A
ssemble the Diesel Fueling as illustrated
in Figure 1. Slide the three window
louvers into the window channels, then
position the roof on the building. Insert the
figure post into the moving base found in the
attendant’s pathway. Insert the sand tank
tower into the base, and installation is
complete.
Wiring the Diesel Fueling Station
T
he Diesel Fueling Station operates
best at 11 to 18 volts (AC). You can
power this accessory with a separate
accessory power supply or through
track power. Wire the thumbscrew
terminals as illustrated in Figure 2.
You will need the ends of the wires to
be stripped back 1/4” to 3/8”.
To strip the wires, use a
pair of wire strippers or a
sharp knife. Only an
adult should perform this
task! Always use care when
stripping wires.
