Step 5: Whilst supporting the top of the heatsink place a

hand at the bottom and pull the whole module
outwards, maintaining the angle shown in the
photo. Note: the weight of the module is taken by
resting the two pins on the cabinet (see below).

Step 6: Lay the module flat on a soft surface, taking great

care not to damage the veneer on the rear of the
cabinet.  Note how it has been laid on a piece of
foam to protect the paint on the heatsink.

Step 7: To change the remaining two fuses, it is necessary

to partially remove the top screening can. Remove
all 4 screws (1 at each corner) and the lift the end
of the screening can upwards in the direction
shown. Note: the cables at the end that are cable-
tied may restrict the movement of the screening-
can.

Step 8: There are two power-supply boards, each with a

fuse behind the inlet socket (see picture), change
both fuses, as earlier, if there are 6.3amp fuses
fitted these should be changed for 10amp MISS
397’s.

Step 9: Replace the screening-can and re-fit the four

screws

Step 10: The amplifier module is now ready to be

assembled back into the cabinet. Before picking up
the module, note how the cables should lie relative
to the support pin.
