Location has
3 modes
and it’s important
to understand the differences.
Modes
Bluetooth
Mode 1:
With You
The Wifi/Bluetooth on your
phone and collar are near
each other.
Mode 3:
Away
The Tracking Unit is away from the
Base Station and the Wifi/Bluetooth on
your phone. This may not mean your
dog is lost, but could be with someone
who isn’t connected to your app. It can
however activate a lost dog notification.
Mode 2:
Near Base Station
The Tracking Unit is near the
Base Station Bluetooth.
(Base Station Bluetooth range is
approx. 50-150m depending on any
obstacles. See Getting Started Base
Station chart for reference)
