12. MAINTENANCE

Battery Maintenance

——Remove the battery and add distilled water

as required to the proper level. Do not use tap water which may contain
minerals that reduce battery life. Apply Dielectric Grease to the terminal
bolts and terminals. Charge the battery.

Storage Area/Covers

——Set tire pressure and safely support the CUV

with the tires 1-2”(25-50mm) off the ground. Be sure the storage area is
well ventilated. Cover the machine with a CUV cover.

NOTE: Do not use plastic or coated materials. They do not allow
enough ventilation to prevent condensation, and may promote
corrosion and oxidation.

TRANSPORTING

Whenever the CUV is to be transported the following measures should
be taken.

Turn off the power and remove the key.

Be certain the oil cap, and seat are installed correctly.

Always tie the frame of the CUV to the transporting until securely
using suitable straps or rope.

Always place the transmission in gear and lock the parking brake.
