Read the instruction manual carefully before you use the
appliance.
• Do not use the teppanyaki near baths, showers, sinks or
other washbasins.
• Do not touch the appliance with wet hands.
• If however, the teppanyaki does get wet, immediately
remove the plug from the electric socket.
• Never use the appliance if the electric lead is damaged.
• Check regularly for damage and do not allow the
appliance to come into contact with hot surfaces.
• Never place the appliance near flammable materials such
as curtains. Place the teppanyaki on an insulated mat if
possible to avoid splashing on your table.
• Never immerse the teppanyaki in water or any other liquid
and never clean the appliance in a dishwasher.
• Never use the appliance near other heat producing
appliances. Do not cover the appliance.
• Do not use any accessories other than those from the
manufacturer.
• Do not touch any hot surfaces making sure that you
always use the heat resistant handles.
CAUTION
Make sure that sharp objects such as forks do not damage
the special coating on the teppanyaki. Small fragments
could become loose and your appliance could get
irreparably damaged. Always use the traditional wooden
spatulas or a heat resistant plastic model.
If the teppanyaki becomes too hot, the integrated
safety thermostat will be activated: the appliance will
automatically switch off. The indicator light will show you this.
