
8. Maintenance
Attention:
before any maintenance operation, it is necessary to disconnect the machine from
the power.
8.1. Routine maintenance
• Check the degree of wear of the components of the device and the need the change; Only use
OEM spare parts and accessories.
• Check the condition of all electrical components to ensure their functioning properly.
At the end of each use, clean the machine thoroughly:
• Remove the pad/brush (18/24/ 19) to avoid that, by evaporating, the electrolytic solution
becomes encrusted on the torch insert (17/23). When the buffer/brush (18/24/19) is worn or
if it shows traces of burns, replace with a new one. If the buffer/brush (18/24/ 19) is still
usable, rinse under water.
• Once cold, clean the insert (17/23) under the water to prevent the formation of deposits.

8.2. Extraordinary maintenance
Extraordinary maintenance shall in principle be entrusted to Lincoln Electric Europe qualified
technicians or authorized service centers.
Attention:
Any warranty offered by Lincoln Electric Europe shall be voided if the machine is
disassembled, repaired or modified by unauthorized personnel or service center.
9. Elimination and Disposal
Caution:
It is crucial to ensure the protection of the environment.
PACKAGING:
the packaging is considered urban waste and may be disposed of as such (first
class dumps) with no risk to humans or the environment.
WORN PADS:
worn pads are special waste for disposal, in compliance with the standards
existing in your country.
MACHINERY AND OBSOLETE EQUIPMENT:
Machinery and obsolete equipment are hazardous waste to be disposed by taking
into account the category to which they belong. Under Directive EC 2002/96 for
electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), during disposal of these, the user has to
sort the electrical and electronic components and deliver them to an authorized
collection center or return the equipment to the seller against the purchase of new equipment.
USED LIQUID SOLUTIONS:
during the treatment process (stripping and polishing), liquid solution
is used on heavy metals: spent fluids must be considered special waste for disposal in
accordance with the regulations in force in the country where the machine is used.
