VRTEX® ENGAGE™
PROBLEMS
(SYMPTOMS)
POSSIBLE AREAS OF

RECOMMENDED
COURSE OF ACTION
The machine was shut down and will not
turn back on when the green circular button
is pressed.
1. The system may still be in shut down
mode.
1. Wait 20 seconds, then press and hold
the green circular button for 5 seconds
to start the machine.
The user cannot weld a second pass.
1. The joint configuration may be set up for
one pass only.
1. Check the tolerance editor to verify the
joint configuration allows for multiple
pass welding.
The VRTEX Engage does not start up when
the when the green circular button is
pressed.
1. Make sure the correct input power is
being applied to the machine.
2. Verify fused power switch is in the ON
position.
3. Fuse may be faulty.
1. Be sure to hold the green circular button
in for at least 5 seconds.
2. Replace with 10A/250V fuse only.
