VRTEX® ENGAGE™
33. The lesson overview screen will provide a brief description of
the next lesson (GMAW Short 10 Ga Mild Steel 2F). Select the
appropriate weld process to begin the lesson. See Figure B.99.
34. Using the touch screen, select the appropriate weld process and
then select the Start Lesson icon to continue. See Figure B.100.
35. Select the desired weld environment (Ironwork, Power Plant or
Motorsports) and select the Continue icon. See Figure B.101.
36. Using the on-screen icons, set the gas mixture and gas flow. See
Figure B.102. Select the Continue icon. See the WPS Book for
the correct settings.
37. Using the on-screen icons, set the polarity, wire feed speed and
voltage. See Figure B.103. Select the Continue icon. See the
WPS Book for the correct settings.
38. Select the check settings icon to verify the appropriate settings
have been entered. See Figure B.104. If the correct settings
have been entered the user will be taken to the weld environment.
If the setting are incorrect a message will appear on-screen and
the user will need to select the back icon and adjust the settings.
