PRO-CUT 60
HIGH VOLTAGE / HIGH
FREQUENCY AND BY-PASS
CIRCUIT
The control board passes the 115vac through the
CR2 relay contacts to the primary of the high volt-
age transformer. The secondary of the high volt-
age transformer delivers a high voltage to the
spark gap generator and also to the high frequen-
cy transformer. The high frequency transformer
transfers the high frequency "spark" to the
torch terminal. This momentary burst of high fre-
quency is used to ignite the pilot arc.
The by-pass board is necessary to prevent any
unwanted signals from interfering with the Pro-
Cut 60 circuitry.
