INVERTEC V275-S

Observe all Safety Guidelines detailed throughout this manual

OUTPUT PROBLEMS

PROBLEMS

(SYMPTOMS)

POSSIBLE

CAUSE

RECOMMENDED

COURSE OF ACTION

The machine will not produce more
than 200 amps.

1.  This may be normal operation.  If

the output current exceeds 300
amps, an electronic protection
circuit will reduce the current to
less than 200 amps.  The
machine will continue to produce
this low current until the
protection circuit is reset.  Reset
occurs when the output load is
removed.

2.  Check the input voltage and input

voltage reconnect procedures.
See

Input Voltage Reconnect

Procedure

.

3.  Check for loose or faulty welding

cables.

If all recommended possible areas of
misadjustment have  been checked
and the problem persists,

Contact

your local Lincoln Authorized Field
Service Facility.

If for any reason you do not understand the test procedures or are unable to perform the tests/repairs safely, con-
tact your local authorized field service facility for technical troubleshooting assistance before you proceed.
