1. PRESSURE ARM
(See
“Installation Section”
forfunction.)
2. COLD FEED / GAS PURGE SWITCH
Place the rocker (momentary) switch in the FOR-
WARD position for cold feeding, or in the REAR
positionforgaspurge.
When cold feeding, the wire drive will feed elec-

by rotating the WFS knob. Cold feeding, or "cold
inching" the electrode is useful for threading the
e l e c t r o d e
through the
gun.

When gas purging the gas solenoid valve will
energize but neither the power source output nor

switch is useful for setting the proper flow rate of
shieldinggas.
3. 2-STEP/ TRIGGER INTERLOCK
SWITCH
The 2-Step/Trigger Interlock switch changes the
functionoftheguntrigger.2-Steptriggeroperation
turns welding on and off in direct response to the
trigger.TriggerInterlockoperationallowsweldingto

Place the rocker switch in the DOWN position for
2-Step operation or in the UP position for Trigger
Interlockoperation.
2-Step Trigger
2-Step trigger operation is
the most common. When
the gun trigger is pulled,
the welding power source
energizes the electrode
output and the wire feeder
feedswireforwelding.The
power source and wire
feeder continue welding
untilthetriggerisreleased.
