OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Only qualified or trained personnel should use this appliance.
Remove gastronorm dishes and fill water tank with water up to the level indicated
by the mark in the rear of the tank. Replace gastronorms.
Turn on the power supply at the isolating switch
– the green neon illuminates
indicating power to the appliance.
Turn the control knob to the required setting
– the amber neon illuminates indicating
that the element is energised.
When the set temperature is reached, the amber neon will extinguish and then
cycle with the operation of the element as it maintains temperature.
Check and maintain the water level in the tank
– do not allow appliance to boil dry.
Shutdown
To shutdown, rotate the control knob to the ‘Off’ position and switch off at the
isolating switch.
Resetting the safety thermostat
In the event of the appliance boiling dry, the safety thermostat protecting the
element will operate, shutting down the appliance. Observe the following to reset:
Isolate the appliance from the electrical supply.
Leave to cool for at least 20 minutes before refilling the water tank to the correct
level.
Reset the safety thermostat by pressing the red button (accessed through a hole in
the RH side of the base, near the front of the appliance).
Reconnect to the electricity supply and operate as normal.
