Mount the two screws and allow the still loose lock finger to
engage in the rear or middle bore of the leaf spring, while you
align the steering arm. The lock finger can centre itself
through the slotted holes. In this position the two M6 screws
are tightened. See Fig. 6:

Correct installation of the lock finger
The leaf spring is fastened on a bracket that can be slid back
and forth slightly in slotted holes so that the lock finger can
cleanly engage in all 3 holes. In Fig. 7 the screws are marked
that must be unscrewed to adjust the leaf spring.
The housing does not need to be opened, because the
screws are fastened in a threaded plate.
