When inserting the new sphincter ensure that the end with the red valve faces outwards.
The male and female sphincters are easy to differentiate: the female sphincter (left
picture) is shorter in length than the male (right picture)
Lubricate the inside of the urethral
connector
Insert the sphincter into the connector
and push it in with your thumb
