Instructions for the check points
1 General inspection
- Check for scratches, dents, deformities or unusual surface wear.
- On mast, inspect weld at leg support tube.
2 Type/model identification decal
- Verify presence of mast decal with model type and serial number.
3 Castor wheels
- Roll the lift, unloaded, along the floor, checking to ensure that all castors roll and turn freely.
- Verify that castor fasteners are tight.
4 Castor brakes
- Lock the brakes. Make sure the wheels do not turn and the castor housing does not swivel when the lift is pushed.
5 Base opening and closing linkage
- Verify that the M12 x 105mm pin bolt is secured with a nyloc nut or cotter/split pin in welded castle nut.
Manual Base EM:
- Inspect mounting plate teeth for wear
- Pull back on handle to check compression spring pressure. Turnable plate welding should secure in
mounting plate teeth when the handle is released.
- Inspect linkage arms and ball coupling hardware
- Verify max. & min. dimensions. (Can be found in the Instruction Guide)
Electrical Base EE:
- Check that the set screws (2) in center section collar are tight.
- Inspect Pivot Arms, (left and right) for scratches/gouges.
- Inspect linkage arms and ball coupling hardware.
- Verify max. & min. dimensions. (Can be found in the Instruction Guide)
Sabina 200:
- Check that the screws and nuts in base motor are tight.
- Inspect the diagonal bar.
- Inspect linkage and plastic covers.
- Verify max. & min. dimensions. (Can be found in the Instruction Guide)
6 Base frame castor play & levelling
Sabina ll:
- Roll the lift along a level floor surface and check to ensure that the distance between the wheels and the
floor does not exceed 6 mm / 0.24 Inch.
- Manually open and close legs at the front casters to measure wheel play. Base width wheel play should
not exceed 35 mm/1.38 Inch total.
7 Foot tray
- Inspect plastic Foot tray cover for cracks and secure fit on metal frame.
- Verify that the foot frame sits securely on base.
8 Locking handles
- Loosen & re tighten locking handles. Verify that threads are not damaged or binding.
