5.3 Output signals description

: analogue current output;

: analogue reference,
internally connected to 0VDC;

Fault:
error signal for cable integrity check.
Only available for current outputs.
To connect the fault signal, see Figure 2 and
Figure 3, pay attention to R2 value.
No encoder error = transistor ON (conducting).
Encoder error = transistor OFF (open).

5.4 Input signals description
•
+15VDC +30VDC, 0VDC
: power supply;
•
Zero setting
: active high from 15V to 30V, it
sets the current position of the encoder to
the minimum analogue value (quote 0);
•
Complementary
: active high from 15V to
30V; if not active the position value output
increases when the encoder shaft rotates
clockwise (CW); if active the position value
output increases when the encoder shaft
rotates counter-clockwise (CCW);
•
Hold
: data latch, active high from 15V to
30V, only available for MIL 7 connector.
