8.6 Logging Out
A user may logout at any time that commands may be made to the SCS3230 by typing
LOGOUT

LOGOFF
, or by selecting
LOGOUT
from a pull-down menu. When a user is connected to a server
and they logout, the connection to that server will be broken and any other users that are
listening to that session will lose their connection to that server as well.

Only one user at a time may connect to a device on the SCS3230, except when using listen
mode (see Section 7.9, Listening to a Server Session for more details). Before attempting to
select a device port, the user may desire to check if the device port is free. The
CONNECTIONS
command allows the user to list the users that are logged in, which devices they have currently
selected, and which mode they are in. Users may also view this information by selecting
DISPLAY CONNECTED LIST
from the pull-down menu when logged in.
