1.5  3230 Network/Control Card 

The 

SCS3230

 offers the following benefits and features over the conventional CS3200 product:  

•

  Linux-based Secure Console Server using OpenSSH v2  

•

  ID / Password Security, configurable access rights 

•

  One RS-232 Terminal port (for your local Console) 

•

  10/100 Network Port (TCP/IP) -- an option for the CS3200 

 
The SCS3230 replaces the standard 

CONTROL

 card with the new combination 

NETWORK / 

CONTROL

 card, and fills the four Network / Terminal Card slots with "Channel Extender" cards. 

The Channel Extenders are used by the new Network / Control card to extend the number of
