press the or buttons to set the time (between 1 – 30 minutes). For cooking
recommendations please refer to the section “COOKING WITH MANUAL TEMPERATU-
RE/TIME”.
NOTE: If you want to use one of the 6 automatic programmes press the button and
keep pressing it until the desired programme is shown. For more information please
refer to „COOKING WITH PROGRAMME SELECTION”.
9. Now press to turn on the Air Fryer. The icon indicates that the appliance is
operating.
10. The heating icon lights up. This indicates that the appliance is heating up. Once
the light turns off, the appliance has reached the set temperature. The light goes on
and out from time to time. This indicates that the temperature is controlled by the
thermostat and is being maintained.
11. The pan can be pulled out of the appliance at any time to check the ingredients
cooking condition or to shake the ingredients. The Air Fryer will pause cooking
automatically.
NOTE: The display will turn off temporarily as a safety feature until pan and basket are
replaced.
WARNING! Do not touch the pan during and some time after use, as it gets very hot.
Only hold the pan by the handle.
12. Once the set time has expired you will hear a beep sound. The appliance switches
off automatically and goes into standby mode. You can also switch off the appliance
manually. To do this press the button.
CAUTION: The fan keeps running to cool down the appliance. It turns off automatically.
13. Pull the pan out of the appliance, being careful of hot steam, and place it on a heat-
resistant surface.
14. Check if the ingredients are ready. If the ingredients are not ready yet, simply slide
the pan back into the Air Fryer and set the timer to a few extra minutes.
15. To remove small ingredients from the basket, press the basket release button and lift
the basket out of the pan.
WARNING: Do not turn the basket upside down with the pan still attached to it, as any
excess oil that has collected on the bottom of the pan will leak onto the ingredients.
16. Empty the basket into a heat-resistant bowl or onto a plate. When a batch of ingre-
dients is ready, the Air Fryer is instantly ready for preparing another batch.
