Disposal of packaging materials
The packaging protects the appliance from damage during carriage.
The packaging materials have been selected for their environmental friendliness
and ease of disposal, and are therefore recyclable.
Returning the packaging to the material cycle conserves raw materials and
reduces the amount of waste which is generated. Dispose of packaging materials
that are no longer needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.
Inserting batteries
♦
Push the battery compartment cover on the front of the signal emitter
downwards.
♦
Insert the four AAA batteries (supplied) into the battery compartment.
Ensure the +/- terminals are correctly aligned.
♦
To close the battery compartment cover , push it back upwards on the front
of the signal emitter .
Attaching the connector plug

Connect the connector plug of the floor mat underlay to the connector
plug of the signal emitter . To do this, join the connectors on the ends of
the wires together until they snap into place.
Placement of the floor mat underlay
Place the floor mat underlay either inside or outside of the building, depending
on use. The floor mat underlay is intended for use in a dry area. It is not be
exposed to rain or water.

Take into account the distance between the floor mat underlay and the
signal emitter . The cable length of the signal emitter is approx. 10 m.
Placement as an alarm or visitor warning

Select the area, e.g. in front of an entry door, in front of a patio door or above or
below a staircase, that you want to secure.
♦
Cover the floor mat underlay completely with a carpet or a welcome mat.
