High Quality Picture – No loss of resolution or introduced digital artifacts
Our Digital Media Distribution Amplifiers are manufactured to deliver the
highest quality picture by preserving the native resolution from the video
sources and eliminating any digital artifacts (pixel loss or “sparklies”). Due
to the nature of digital signals any non-active connector junctions will
detrimentally affect the signal, this device provides active junctions to
reconstitute and amplify the signal (boosting) and ensures the signal
quality to the display.
Signal Amplification
The 12 VDC external power adapter ensures adequate power to the
DigitaLinx™ Digital Media Distribution Amplifier to perform the signal
amplification from the video source. This is necessary because the
introduction of a device indicates longer cable lengths are in use. The distance
from the source to the displays includes two cable lengths and the device.
Due to the nature of digital signals the amplification feature is necessary to
ensure quality of the signal and prevent blackouts, blue screen, or digital
artifacts (Sparklies).
HDCP (High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection) Compliant
The DigitaLinx™ Digital Media Distribution Amplifier is fully HDCP compliant.
Many video sources such as DVD players and Satellite/Cable receivers are
HDCP encrypted. In order to display the video all devices in the chain,
including the source and the display must also be HDCP compliant.
