Adjusting Front and Rear Brakes
Although we adjust your brakes at the factory,
your brakes should be checked before every ride

Upper brake pad adjusting screw. Using a phillips
screwdriver, turn clockwise to increase braking or
counterclockwise to decrease braking. As brakes wear,
adjustment will be needed periodically.
This is the main brake adjustment. Using a
10mm end wrench, loosen nut enough to
release cable tension. Pull cable tighter to
increase braking and loosen cable to
decrease braking, tighten nut.
This is the quick adjustment. Using an 8mm
end wrench, turn out to increase braking
and in to decrease braking. Tighten lock nut
to lock in place. If more adjustment is
needed, go to next picture.
