Making a Contact Secret
You may designate some phone numbers as a Secret Entry in order to prevent
the phone number saved in Contacts from being viewed or changed by other
people.
The phone number assigned as a Secret Entry is not displayed; instead the
display shows Secret . You can still make and receive calls, but it is impossible to
edit or delete the secret entry before entering the Lock Code.
1. Tap Menu in the Contacts Edit screen.
2. Tap Make Secret .
Looking Up Contacts
1. Tap Menu in Contacts Edit screen.
2. Tap LookUp , the Virtual Keyboard appears.
3. Enter the name of the person you are searching for and as you add each letter,
the display updates to show names with the same characters.
4. Select the entry you are searching for.
5. The phone number for that entry appears.
6. To view more details on the entry, tap Detail and it moves to the Edit screen.
You can change the information by using the Virtual keyboard.
Making a Call from the Contacts
1. Tap the name of group containing the people you want to call or tap All in the
Contacts list screen.
2. Select the tap which has the first letter of the name.
3. Select the name you want to call from the list.
4. The name and the phone number of that entry is displayed.
5. Tap the to the right of the phone number, to call the number.
