3.1 General Description
The U310 supports UMTS-2100 DS-WCDMA, EGSM-900, DCS-1800, and PCS-1900. All receivers
and the UMTS transmitter use the radioOne

Zero-IF architecture to eliminate intermediate frequencies,
directly converting signals between RF and baseband. The EGSM, DCS1800 and PCS1900
transmitters use a baseband-to-IF upconversion followed by an offset phase-locked loop that
translates the GMSK-modulated signal to RF.
