1.20 Installation buffer tank & auxiliary pump

Are buffer tank and auxiliary pump installed?

Secure flow and see if system is stabilized

Common
Install the buffer tank with the following goals(Field scope).
1. For floor heating and if flow resistance is too high
2. For defrosting, oil retrieval operation and continuous heating
3. Preventing short cycle from load variation
Secondary pump needs to be installed if the buffer tank is to be installed(Field scope)
Generally a third party controller is intalled to control the pump at the load side.

Buffer tank
Check compliance with installation checklist after installing the system and engage in pilot operation.
See if air vent is open first and engage in air fudge operation. Will take 10~60 minutes depending on
on-site conditions.
Check if there is no noise from air getting released nor flow inside before engaging in either heating or
cooling operation.
Check what's displayed on the remote controller's panel as below and end pilot operation.

In the menu screen, press [<, >(left/right)] button to
select the setting category, and press [
∧
(up)] button for
3 seconds to enter the password input screen for the
installer setting.
• Input the password and press [OK] button to move to
the installer setting list.
Pump starts operating as ON button is pressed, and it
continues operating until OFF button is pressed.
Run up to 1 hour and pump will stop automatically.
