NOTE

•  Leveling the doors may not be possible when the 

floor is not leveled, or is of weak or poor 

construction.

•  The refrigerator is heavy and should be installed 

on a rigid and solid surface.

•  Some timber flooring may cause levelling 

difficulties if it flexes excessively.

Turning on the Power

Earthing Instructions

It is recommended to install an earth wire to 

prevent electric shock.

•  Connect the earth wire

WARNING

•  Do not connect the earth wire to gas pipe, water 

pipe, water tap, telephone earth wire, and 

lightining rod.

NOTE

•  When you install the appliance in a humid or wet 

location, you must install the earth wire. You are 

obligated by law to install a circuit breaker in 

addition to the earth wire. Make sure your 

appliance is properly installed and earthed by a 

qualified technician.

•  Consult with your retailer or a qualified 

technician before installing an earth wire. You 

may be charged for the installation.

Connecting the Appliance

After installing the appliance, connect the power 

plug into the outlet socket. Do not double up with 

other appliances on the same outlet.

NOTE

•  After connecting the power supply cord (or plug) 

to the outlet, wait 3 or 4 hours before you put 

food into the appliance. If you add food before 

the appliance has cooled completely, your food 

may spoil.

•  To turn off the appliance, disconnect the power 

plug from the socket outlet.

Remove all food from inside the appliance.

Pull the power plug out, insert and fix it into the 

power plug hook at the rear or on top of the 

appliance.

Tape parts such as shelves and the door handle 

to prevent from falling off while moving the 

appliance.

Move the appliance with more than two people 

carefully. When transporting the appliance 

over a long distance, keep the appliance 

upright.

After installing the appliance, connect the 

power plug into a mains outlet socket and 

switch it on.
