ATTACHING THE HOSE AND DIFFUSER
NOTE : The air conditioner is shipped with the hose installed. The hose may be removed for cleaning
and storage, if necessary. Simply reverse the steps below to remove.

Insert the large adapter end of the hose into
the hole on the back of the air conditioner.
Align the pins on the connector with the
slots in the hole. Twist slightly clockwise
until it locks into place.

Fit the round end of the diffuser over the
small adapter end of the hose. Align the
slots on the diffuser with the pins on the
hose. Twist slightly clockwise to lock
into place.
ATTACHING THE RAIN SHIELD
Insert the tabs on left and right rain shields
into the slots on the vent panel, making sure
that the rain shields are oriented as shown.
The rain shield attaches to the window vent panel and helps keep rain, dirt, and debris from entering
the air conditioner hose.
