Thawing out the Appliance
Running the Thawing Mode

Turn on the appliance and press the
Less
Time
button for 3 seconds.
NOTE
• Press only the
Less Time
button on the control
panel to activate the thawing mode.
• Only the
Power
and
Start/Pause
buttons work
when the thawing mode is activated.
• The thawing time cannot be changed manually.
• To deactivate the thawing mode, turn off the
appliance.

Press the
Start/Pause
button to start the
thawing mode.
• Actual thawing time varies depending on
the installation environment such as
installation location and ambient
temperature of the appliance.

When thawing is complete, dry clothes as
usual.
Thawing out the Appliance Manually

Open the dryer door and pull out both the
inner and outer filters.

Carefully pour 34 oz. (1 liter) of hot water at

℉
/ 60
℃
into the lint filter compartment
and then reinsert both lint filters.
CAUTION
• Pouring more that 51 oz. (1.5 liters) of water into
the compartment will cause water to leak out.
• Wear gloves and use care when pouring hot
water. 140

) water can cause scalding or
burns. Using water that is hotter than that can
cause the appliance to malfunction.

Turn on the appliance and run the
Normal
cycle for about 30 seconds. Then wait about
30 minutes.

Run the
Normal
cycle again. Check if the
OE
message appears or
E
lights up within 10
minutes of running the appliance.
• If the
OE
message or
E
icon appears go to
step 2 and repeat procedure.
• If the
OE
message or
E
do not appear, the
thawing process is done.

When thawing is complete, dry clothes as
usual.
