JPEG storage and playback:
1) First after inserting memory stick/card in the card slot the image data (JPEG file)is decoded and stored by the processor in the
SDRAM and Flash memory.
2) While during playback the data is retrieved from the memories and then transmitted as 16bit YC signal to the FPGA chip.
3) There it is stored in the 64MB SDRAM of FPGA in the form of thumbnails along with the OSD menu of EPF.
4) When a particular image is selected then the processed 24bit RGB data of corresponding image is retrieved from the SDRAM of
FPGA and sent to the video DAC where it is converted into analog RGB signal and sent to the jack board for further processing.
5) The horizontal and vertical sync. are also provided by the FPGA along with image signal for the synchronization.
