BOTT DOT ROAD TEST LAYOUT

As part of the PDS road test, the vehicle must be driven over a rough road surface or over Bott Dots in order 

to check for squeeks and rattles. If a rough surface is not available for this road test, Bott Dots should be 

installed on the dealership property where vehicles can be safely driven 5 to 10 mph. (See Bott Dots installation 

instructions below, as recommended and provided by TMC Quality Division.) Bott Dots are available at industrial 

supply outlets.
