PLAYING THE ACTIVTIES
The icons located on the left side of the screen have several meanings:
The “book” icon indicates a computer based category.
The “CD-ROM” icon indicates a CD-ROM based category.
The “knot” icon shows the category number (only for the computer based activities).
The “candy” icon shows the number of good answers.
The child has up to 3 tries to find the correct answer to a question. After 6 good answers,
Scooby-Doo congratulates the child with an animated graphic. The child can then choose
to carry on with the same activity or return to the main menu. Move the arrow to select the
option of your choice and press
.
Note:
At anytime, you may press ESC to exit or a category key to switch to another category.
ACTIVITY LIST
1 - Letters and Words
The computer shows a picture, and then shows
its name at the bottom of the screen with a
missing letter. 5 letters are displayed on top of
the screen. Spot the missing letter, and press
Enter when the cursor is located under it.
Learn how to use your keyboard. The computer
dictates a letter or number. Type it on the keyboard.
If the letter is correct, the computer will say and
display a word starting with that letter. If the number
is correct, the computer will display the same amount of
objects.
