⚠ Please ensure that you thoroughly understand
the operation and safety requirements of the
thruster.
⚠ Your thruster should not be operated close to
swimmers, as a powerful suction of water is
generated when in use.
5- Operating your thruster
The thruster can be operated using the Lewmar simple
joystick (Part No. 589094) or any water proof momen-
tary two direction switch with a 5 amp rating.
‣ Switch ON the battery switch.
‣ To turn on the panel, press and release the ON/OFF
button (fig.5.1). This will cause the LED to illuminate
indicating the panel is ON
‣ Move the joystick in the desired direction to operate
the Thruster (fig.5.2)
‣ To turn off the panel, press and release the ON/OFF
button. This will cause the LED to turn off indicating
the panel is off.
DO NOT frequently move port to starboard on
the joystick in quick succession as this could
damage the electric motor.
