Care, maintenance and disposal

Cleaning

Clean the glass window of the bar code reader with a soft, lint-free cloth before mounting if necessary.

NOTICE

Do not use aggressive cleaning agents!

Ä

Do not use aggressive cleaning agents such as thinner or acetone for cleaning the device.

NOTICE

Ä

To clean the optics cover, use only a lint-free cloth.
Tips and hard objects damage the lens.

Maintenance

Usually, the bar code reader does not require any maintenance by the operator.

Repairs to the device must only be carried out by the manufacturer.

For repairs, contact your responsible Leuze subsidiary or Leuze customer service (see chapter 11 "Ser-
vice and support").

Firmware Reload

You can load a different firmware into the device using the

Sensor Studio

configuration software (see chap-

ter 6.7 "Firmware Reload").

Disposing

For disposal observe the applicable national regulations regarding electronic components.
