Clicking on the

Snap

button records an image. Then you can see the recorded image

from the image memory. This is being read out continuously and displayed. The sen-
sor switches automatically to snap mode when drawings of the search window are dis-
played on the video monitor. This happens, for example, when patterns are added or
changed.

- Live mode

Select the

Live

button from the tool bar

or select

Live

in the

Image menu

.

In live mode, the given image recorded by the camera module is directly displayed. So
you can watch the current scene in the sensor's field of vision. The image memory is
bypassed in this display mode. Live mode is activated when you use the button

Live

.

The sensor switches to live mode automatically when search operations are being te-
sted resp. executed.
