Supplementary protective equipotential bonding
Standardised, supplementary protective equipotential bonding is obtained by wiring in
compliance with the following items.

A central earthing point is located on the metallic carrier in the connection area of
each device variant and is marked with
.
¯
Provide wiring to the central earthing point with a sufficient cross section in the
respective device variant.

Typically: 4 mm
2
¯
Provide wiring from the central earthing point to the terminal of the 24V supply
with an adequate cross section.
–
Typically: 1.5 mm
2
¯
If an optional HDMI extender is used, a pre−assembled cable for looping through
the supply voltage is included in the scope of supply.
¯
There is also a central earthing point in the EPCZEBT... switch boxes.
