Adjustment of field controller and field weakening controller
Stop!
ƒ
Field weakening operation is only possible with asynchronous motors.
ƒ
The available torque is reduced by the field weakening.
In order to optimise the machine operation in the field weakening range, you can set the
field controller and the field weakening controller accordingly.
Field weakening occurs if the maximum output voltage of the controller is reached with
rising speed and cannot be increased further.
The maximum possible output voltage depends on
ƒ
the respective DC−bus voltage (mains voltage).
ƒ
the voltage reduction through the controller load.
ƒ
the voltage drop at the mains choke.
Experience values for the voltage drop under the influence of the mains choke and inverter
are between 6 ... 10 %.
