Packaging material is not a toy.
Children are not allowed to play with
the plastic bags. There is a choking
-hazard.
• Remove all parts from the package
and remove complete packaging
material. Remove also the transpor-
tation safety devices, which may be
there.
• Check if the delivered items
are complete and check for any
damages; clean the appliance.
Consider the chapter “Cleaning”.
9. Implementing
DANGER-
ELECTRIC SHOCK!
•
Connect the mains plug only to
the properly installed, easily acces-
sible socket with earthing contact,
voltage of which corresponds to the
specifications on the data plate. The
socket must also be easily accessible
after connecting.
• Pull out the mains plug after every
use from the socket.
WANING-
RISK OF INJURY!
• Close the lid without fail when the
water is heated because the boiling
water can otherwise spout!
• Do not open the lid while the water
is boiling.
• Fill the electric kettle only up to
the maximum fill level because the
boiling water can otherwise spout.
• Do not bend over the electric
kettle, if you open the lid and the
content is still hot. There is a risk of
scalding due to leaking steam.
• The electric kettle becomes very
hot after operating it. Hold only the
handle of the kettle and operate
only the unlock key and the on/off
switch.
