CHARGING THE LITHIUM BATTERY: 

1.

 

Ensure the quad-copter is turned off. 

2.

 

Insert the USB end of the charge lead to a computer or mains USB adaptor. 

3.

 

Connect the end of the charge lead to the charging socket of the quad-copter.  

4.

 

While the quad-copter is charging, the power switch on the quad-copter will be up red. 

5.

 

When charging is complete, the power switch will not be lit up. 

6.

 

Full charging time is about 4 hours. 

CAUTIONS WHEN CHARGING: 

1.

 

When charging the quad-copter, ensure it is in a dry, well ventilated area away from any 
heat sources and explosive items. 

2.

 

When charging, remove the battery from the quad-copter. 

3.

 

After flying, please do not charge the battery if the surface temperature of the quad-copter 
is warm. 

4.

 

Do not re-charge the battery if the battery appears to look swollen.  

5.

 

Ensure that the original USB charge lead provided is used for recharging. 

6.

 

A battery which has not been used for a long time will lose it’s charge automatically. 

7.

 

Charging or discharging too often may reduce the use of the battery. 

PREPARATION FOR FLIGHT: 

1.

 

Please operate the quad-copter in a spacious indoor or outdoor area. 

2.

 

Ensure the battery is well installed and connected. 

3.

 

Ensure the camera is connected if you want to use the camera. 

4.

 

Place the quad-copter on the ground facing towards you.  

5.

 

Turn on the quad-copter by pressing the power switch. The indication lights on the quad-
copter will be blink rapidly for 3 – 4 seconds. Wait for the frequency adjustment. Then the 
lights will be blinking at a slower pace. 

6.

 

Turn on the controller by pressing the power button on the controller. The status light will 
be flashing. 

7.

 

To synchronise the controller and the quad-copter, pull the throttle stick upwards to the 
highest position. The controller will beep once and the status light on the controller will be 
flashing rapidly.  

8.

 

Then pull the throttle stick downwards to the lowest position. The controller will beep again 
and the status light on the controller will stay on and the lights on the quad-copter will be 
blinking slowly when the quad-copter and controller have been paired successfully.
