Internal backup units
The server does not support internal tape drive options or other internal backup units. However, it can be
attached to the external tape drives using SAS or Fibre Channel connectivity (see Table 29).
Optical drives
The server supports the optical drive options listed in the following table. Server models with 3.5-inch
HDDs do not support an internal optical drive.
