The preinstalled WLAN module may only be replaced with a

Lenovo approved module in order to comply with FCC and IC regulations.

Peel off the tape

Disconnect the two wireless LAN cables (black, gray) . Remove the screw .

In step , unplug the antenna RF connector (P/N: 08K7159) by using the
removal tool, or pick up the connectors with your fingers and gently unplug

them in the direction shown by the arrows.

Notes:

The wireless LAN card has 2 cables in step .

The wireless LAN card in some models might have 3 cables in step .
