Installing device drivers for Windows operating systems
After you finish installing a Windows operating system, you might need to download and install required
device drivers to ensure that the hardware devices in your server work correctly.
To identify hardware devices that are not working correctly, open Device Manager by doing the following:
1. Click
Start

My Computer
.
3. Click
Manage
and select
Device Manager
in the left pane.
In Device Manager, hardware devices that are not working correctly are indicated by a yellow exclamation
mark and are usually listed under
Other Devices
.
To download and install a device driver, do the following:
1. Go to http://www.lenovo.com/drivers. Then, follow the instructions on the Web page to download the
installation file for the desired device driver to a USB storage device.
2. Copy the installation file to the server where the device driver is to be installed, and then double-click
the installation file.
3. Click
Next
in the Welcome window.
4. In the License Agreement window, select
I accept the agreement
, and then click
Next
to continue.
5. Specify the directory where you want to save the installation file, and then click
Next

6. Click

to begin the installation process.
