Note: If there is no LMBA program installed on the computer, search the LMBA program in the Windows
Store and install it before you begin.
3. Launch the ThinkVantage Access Connections program to confirm your wireless connection or to assist
in resolving any connection problems.
For Windows 8 or Windows 8.1:
1. Download and install the device driver for the wireless WAN adapter by doing one of the following:
• Go to http://www.lenovo.com/support. Then follow the instructions on the screen to download
and install the device driver.
• Use the System Update program:
a. From the Start screen, click the arrow icon in the bottom-left corner to go to the Apps screen.
b. Launch System Update on the Apps screen.
c. Click Get new updates .
d. Select the name of the wireless WAN adapter. Then follow the instructions on the screen to
download and install the device driver.
2. Establish your wireless WAN connection to connect the computer to the mobile broadband (cellular)
network. For more information about the mobile broadband connection, refer to the Windows help
information system.
For Windows 10:
1. Download and install the device driver for the wireless WAN adapter by doing one of the following:
• Go to http://www.lenovo.com/support. Then follow the instructions on the screen to download
and install the device driver.
• Use the System Update program:
a. From the desktop, search Lenovo Companion in the search box on the taskbar.
b. Launch Lenovo Companion on the screen.
c. Click SYSTEM UPDATE and click Check for new updates .
d. Select the name of the wireless WAN adapter. Then follow the instructions on the screen to
download and install the device driver.
2. Establish your wireless WAN connection to connect the computer to the mobile broadband (cellular)
network. For more information about the mobile broadband connection, refer to the Windows help
information system.
