1. Disable the built-in battery. See “Disabling the built-in battery” on page 121.

2. Remove the removable battery. See “Replacing the removable battery” on page 122.

3. Locate the micro-SIM-card slot inside the battery compartment.

4. If a micro SIM card is already installed in the slot, gently push the micro SIM card to eject it and then

slide it out of the slot.

5. Ensure that the new micro SIM card is correctly orientated as shown in the following illustration. Then,

insert the new micro SIM card firmly into the slot until it clicks into place.

6. Reinstall the battery pack. See “Replacing the removable battery” on page 122.

7. Turn the computer over again. Connect the ac power adapter and all cables to the computer.
