Step 9.
Remove the middle cover. Refer to “Removing the middle cover”.
Step 10. Remove the EMI cover. Refer to “Removing the EMI cover”.
Step 11. Remove the rear I/O module. Refer to “Replacing the rear I/O module”.
Step 12. Remove the heat-sink. Refer to “Replacing the heat-sink”.
Step 13. Remove the CPU. Refer to “Replacing the CPU”. (For models C340 and C440 only.)
Step 14. Remove the TV-Tuner card. Refer to “Replacing the TV tuner card”.
Step 15. Remove the WLAN card. Refer to “Replacing the WLAN card”.
Step 16. Unplug the following cables from connectors on the motherboard:
• Power switch board cable
• Speaker system cable
• Front control board cable
• Converter cable
• Camera cable
• System fan power cable
• Hard disk drive power cable
• Hard disk drive SATA cable (Black)
• Optical drive SATA cable (Red)
• LED panel data cable
Step 17. Remove the five screws that secure the motherboard to the chassis and lift the motherboard
up to remove it.
Step 18. To install the new motherboard:
a.
Line up the holes on the new motherboard with the mounting holes chassis and place the new
motherboard into position.
b.
Use the screws to secure the new motherboard to the chassis.
c.
Connect all the cables to the new motherboard.
Step 19. Install the following parts to the new motherboard:
• WLAN card
• TV-Tuner card
